Ponderosa
Donkey Farm welcomes you to our web site. Having grown up on a
farm, we have been around all sorts of livestock for the past 55
plus years. I must say that miniature donkeys are the most relaxing
and rewarding animal that we have ever raised. It is always fun
to go out to do chores and find the donkeys waiting for us. Our
herd is small, but that is by design. Our breeding stock is Black,
Red (Sorrel), Spots, and Brown. We are breeding for disposition,
color and correct conformation. Our herd sires are My World Santana, a 31" Red and Sunset Acres Smart Derby who is a National Champion, Model Donkey and Best of Breed Champion. Derby has stood Grand Champion 6 times. One of our previous herd sires is HHAA
Mojave, a 32 Black w/Cross. His last foal crop was born in 2011. These jacks have
S.S. Red Lightening, Circle
C Little Motown, Hartman's Lass #206,
LN Red Sonfire, My
World Buster, and M&M Eric the Red in their
pedigrees just to name a few. HHAA Mojave was selected to be on
the cover of the Asset Magazine Summer
'06 issue. Our jacks and
jenneys are proven champion producers with several champions to
their credit. If we don't have what you are looking for let us help
