Ponderosa Donkey Farm welcomes you to our web site.  Having grown up on a farm, we have been around all sorts of livestock for the past 50 plus years.  I must say that miniature donkeys are the most relaxing and rewarding animal that we have ever raised.  It is always fun to go out to do chores and find the donkeys waiting for us.  Our herd is small, but that is by design.  Our breeding stock is Black, Red (Sorrel) and Brown.  We are breeding for disposition, color and correct confirmation.  Our herd sires are Sunset Acres Russian Ricardo, Black @  30 ½” at 30 months, Ricardo is out of Circle C Black Russian; LN Red Glo, Red @  31 ½” and LN Nicklesworth, Dark Brown @  29 ¾”.  These Jacks have SS Red Lightening, Circle C Little Motown, Hartman’s Lass #206, LN Redsonnehi, Foxy Nicolina and Red Sonfire, to name a few, in their backgrounds.  Our Jacks and Jennys are proven champion producers with several champions to their credit.
